Firefox 3 Release Candidate 1 May 19, 2008

Taking the latest version of Firefox out for a spin, and I have to say it is very fast! So far everything seems to be working like a charm. I have noticed that embedded YouTube videos in Google Reader are showing up like a missing plugin (for which no suitable plugin can be found) but the videos work as expected when I click on the Popout link. If you haven’t tried Firefox before, you definitely should now. If you rely of Firefox for day-to-day use, you might want to try it also, but remember that a release candidate is not necessarily as stable as the actual finished version. As with all technology, your mileage may vary.
