Kathy Schrock has posted a nice collection of some of the ya$ls mentioned here and elsewhere. She talks about why you might want a 1-to-1 learning environment, and also gives some thought to the supporting technology you might want to get the most out of the opportunity. Her post is well worth the read.

Hi Matthew. Has DPS talked about the possibility of going to a 1-to-1 model? I’m interested in this for our school. If you need a pilot school or know of any grants for which I can apply, please let me know!
Unfortunately, no, DPS hasn’t discussed the possibility of a 1-to-1 model. If I hear of the need for a pilot school though, I’ll let people know you are interested!
