Rohit Bhargava and Jesse Thomas from 360º Digital Influence have posted a SlideShare entitled: “The 25 Basic Styles of Blogging” which fits in well with the educational blog examples I’m posting here. These are not specific to education, but could easily spark ideas for types of blogs that can be used in the classroom. For example, one blog style in the Slideshare is interview blogging where you conduct an interview and post either the transcript or audio/video. This could easily be a part of a classroom unit learning about local history by interviewing people from the community. Check out the Slideshare and see if you come up with your own ideas.
